2016 I started to paint for the first time and it was on a tree leaf in a refugee camp in Greece .After the Yazidi Genocide we as many other Yazidis were fled from the war then being away in along journey to reach a safe place and live a normal life. . . I continued painting and I will always do because it's the best way that we could create our own world , also it's a great feeling when I paint on a dry tree leaf it makes me feel that I bring their lives back.
